What is the NFT XFKTR Art Competition?
In short, NFT XFKTR is an NFT-powered art competition for emerging Web3 visual content creators. The contest welcomes all visual artists including traditional painters, photographers, illustrators, or mixed-media creators. There are no rules in terms of design, style, or medium either. All you need is passion, imagination, and the drive to win!
In other words, anybody can submit an entry to the competition by September 16th. Then, 100 participants will be selected to take part in a special NFT auction.
What are the competition prizes?
Nine of the 100 artists will become finalists who must promote their entries via social media. Each finalist will receive $1,000 in order to boost their social media posts. Only one of them can become the 2022 NFT XFKTR champion and cash the $5,000 prize!

How will the NFT XFKTR art competition unfold?
Accordingly, there will be three main phases of the contest as follows:
1. Make the Mint
All you have to do in order to join the competition is to upload your artwork and personal details to the official platform. After entries close on September 16th, judges will select 100 participants. Their artworks will be minted as NFTs for the next stage:
2. The Art Auction
During this phase, the 100 NFT artworks go through a digital auction via Mintbase. The top 3 most successful market sales will become finalists. In addition, the NFT XFKTR judge panel will pick six other artworks to enter the final stage. Remember: if your artwork sells, you keep the earnings.
3. Promote your Vote
Each of the 9 contest finalists will receive $1,000 to promote their entries via social media. The artist who receives the most votes will win the grand $5,000 prize and become the NFT XFKTR champion!
Which artworks can you submit?
As mentioned before, there are no restrictions in terms of the creative process, mediums, style, or message of the entries. Therefore, participants can even submit artworks from their own portfolios, be they old or new.
