NFT marketplace creator, NFTically has partnered with BollyCoin to launch Dabangg NFT collectibles. The collection, by Indian movie producer Arbaaz Khan, will feature memorabilia from the Bollywood franchise, Dabangg. The franchise stars Salman Khan, a popular actor in the country.
All about Dabangg NFT Collectibles
Currently, the platforms have not shared many details about Dabangg NFT Collectibles. However, NFTically stated that the drop will feature posters, exclusive clips and images. With a large number of collectibles, the drop will make for the “most voluminous NFT drop” in the country.
“This drop is a tremendous opportunity for anyone who was looking to purchase quality NFTs,” said NFTically founder and CEO, Toshendra Sharma. “Owing Salman Khan’s popularity, we anticipate traffic like never before…Our mission is to ensure there are no hiccups in the process, not just for creators and sellers but also the buyers to ensure we play our part in maintaining the ecosystem.”
BollyCoin, a marketplace for Bollywood NFTs, was first announced in October 2021. With Dabangg NFT Collectibles, the platform will officially launch on December 30. That platform is also backed by Salman Khan, who is already a known presence in India’s NFT scene. Back in October, he had launched Chingari NFT Marketplace and its native crypto token, $GARI.
Khan is not alone in launching NFTs in the country. Several Bollywood stars, sports icons, and more have also hopped on the bandwagon. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s debut NFT collection, for instance, fetched close to $1 million last month. Similarly, actress Sunny Leone, cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, and Jhulan Goswami have forayed into the NFT scene. More recently, Raghavendra Rathore became the first Indian designer to drop an NFT collection.
