While the much-anticipated NFT project Invisible Friends will soon announce a release date, some people disagree with their whitelist rules. Unlike most NFT projects, Invisible Friends is planning to make the drop completely pre-sale. As a result, the team is frequently announcing various contests to enter their whitelist. Overall, there are only 5000 whitelist spots. The most recent was to create a GIF that will be used as a teaser.

Invisible Friends: Why some people disagree with whitelist rules
Basically, Twitter user @cory_eth wrote, “Don’t work for free. Don’t produce creative assets for someone else to profit from for free”.
He further says “it sounds a lot like exploitation of their community”. According to him, the collection is merely asking people to perform for them. Following that, they randomly select very few entries for the whitelist.
The fact that the post had over 1000 likes (at the time of writing) indicates that many people agree with Cory.
By the same token, another user, @xAli7_ wrote “the worst part I’ve heard them take away the WL spot role when the person isn’t active for a couple of days, these projects really want your soul for WL”.
On the other hand creators and artists, including the doodles‘ animation director @afliemotion, supported the project (see picture)
Although Invisible Friends is not the first NFT project to host contests in order to earn whitelist spots, it is without a doubt the one that has hosted the most contests to date. As a result, there may have been a difference of opinion.
