The latest series to bring in more than $1million in NFT sales are Cool Cats and CrypToadz. The milestone value puts both collections in the premier league of non-fungible token projects, although the list is growing all the time.
A Cool Cats zombie-themed avatar sold for 320 ETH, or $1.13million. The buyer was Bornadoesntcare, and the seller, who spent just 0.04 ETH ($84) on minting, has revealed plans to open an animal shelter with the money. As for CrypToadz, the top sale to date saw 300 ETH spent, with the seller having paid out $5,100 less than one month before.
In terms of the sales themselves, simply put, the collections have both seen a secondary market sale over $1million in ETH. CyptoPunks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Mutant Ape Yacht Club have all enjoyed similarly high-value transactions. All of which are on the Ethereum blockchain.
Meanwhile, Solana-based projects Degenerate Ape Academy, and Solana Monkey Business have also passed the benchmark. According to DappRadar, in the third quarter alone $10.63billion has been collectively spent on NFTs.
