Cereal fans, listen up! Cereal company OffLimits is making waves in Web3 via its custom cereal box NFTs.
OffLimits is launching 2,500 custom cereal box NFTs. Furthermore, NFT owners will have the chance to collaboratively design and mint a one-of-a-kind cereal box NFT – both in the metaverse and in real life.
This coming week, OffLimits will open 2,500 “Cereal List” spots to guarantee drop access. All Cereal List-ers will receive exclusive access to mint a branded NFT for 0.11ETH. This includes a placeholder character NFT, as well as access to a private Discord channel.
On Discord, Cereal List-ers can design the cereal box cover by submitting their OffLimits NFT. The result will therefore be a collage of all the submitted NFTs. On the day of the announcement, the previously minted OffLimits cereal box NFT will be updated on blockchain to reveal the final design and a completely unique NFT. What’s more – all verified NFT owners will receive 4 real-life boxes of the final cereal box NFT.
About OffLimits
OffLimits is a relatively new cereal brand. It was founded in 2020 by the author of the Breakfast cookbook and host of the “Breakfast Club” Emily Miller. The four flavours – Zombie (pandan), Dash (coffee), Flex (cinnamon) and Spark (strawberry) are all plant-based and gluten-free. Furthermore, artist Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One designed the 90s style artwork and characters on the cereal boxes.
OffLimits NFTs joins other cereal-related projects in the NFT space. These include Australian company Alt Saints’s NFT project and the hugely popular Cereal Club.
