Surprise, surprise, another OpenSea listing bug was reported. Twitter user @ShrewdCharlie took to Twitter to rant about his recent misfortune on the NFT marketplace. The BAYC owner reportedly received an offer for his ape but could not accept the offer. The owner expressed his frustration as he felt that he has missed out on an opportunity to take profits. Based on his tweet, he was still unable to list, sell, or transfer his digital asset even after the offer expired.
The frustrated BAYC owner apparently missed out on a $400k offer, pleading OpenSea Support to look into the matter. However, chances may be slim as other users shared the number of unanswered tickets they have collected to date.
OpenSea Listing Bugs
In case you missed it, an OpenSea listing bug was making waves throughout the NFT community where items were sold based on old listing prices. OpenSea later reimbursed some of these users, amounting to a total of 750 ETH. However, some victims are still reporting that they did not get their reimbursements yet.
More than a few users have publicly complained about OpenSea’s customer service levels, such as non-responsive tickets. In the above Twitter thread, several comments recommended the user to move to LooksRare instead of staying on OpenSea. Moreover, some users shared their frustrations in using the platform as well.
At the time of writing, the NFT marketplace race between OpenSea and LooksRare seems pretty close in terms of volume. The 30D volume for OpenSea sits at $4.3 billion while the latter has $3.82 billion.
