Today marks a big day for the digital and traditional art worlds, Patrick Hughes, an artist renowned for his ‘reverspective’ artworks, will release his debut NFTs on April 30th!
Of course, the digital collectibles will feature Hughes’ signature artistic approach. The iconic painter teamed up with VeVe, an NFT-focused platform, for the drop.
Patrick Hughes NFTs: what you should know
Starting April 30th, art enthusiasts will be able to own Patrick Hughes’ artworks as NFTs. The painter, renowned for his optical illusions, will offer two of his iconic paintings in collaboration with VeVe.
In fact, collectors will be able to mint their favorite collectible on the VeVe mobile app. The price per NFT will be $200, set to drop on April 30th at 8 am PT.
Accordingly, the Patrick Hughes Series 1 will feature the following artworks:
- “Create Expectations”: The structures depicted in the image seem to twist from one side to another. The reverspective effect also creates the illusion of infinity. This oil painting was created in 2018;
- “Contemplating Venice”: In this image, the buildings’ windows are pointing towards the horizon line. As the viewer changes their perspective angle, the entire landscape seems to be moving. Hughes created the original art piece back in 2020.
Both artworks are undoubtedly a top example of Hughes’ majestic ability to create reverspective. Therefore, both NFTs are considered to be Ultra Rare.
An exclusive partnership with VeVe
As the largest mobile-focused NFT platform, VeVe has been supporting content creators since 2018. At this moment, the platform is ready to introduce Patrick Hughes’ artworks to the Web3 universe:

At this moment, VeVe continues its mission to revolutionize Web3 content creation in environmentally-friendly manners. To illustrate, the platform is committed to offering 100% carbon-neutral NFTs.
