Heading to Twitter, Reese Witherspoon announced that she has purchased another World Of Woman NFT this week. This makes her a multi-owner of the notorious collection.
Actress, producer, and entrepreneur Reese Witherspoon has become a fan of NFTs and has invested in the blockchain. Witherspoon bought Ethereum which she used to buy one of the female-led NFT collections, World Of Women. The first NFT she bought from World Of Woman was a woman with blue skin and white hair adorning some earrings and aviator glasses. She posted this on Twitter with ‘gm friends’ which sent Twitter manic. Even Logan Paul volunteered to gift her one.
For people that don’t know, World Of Woman is a female-led NFT collection. They have 10,000 unique and symbolic illustrations of women from a variety of backgrounds and worlds. They exist on the Ethereum blockchain. The owners have their validation of ownership but not only this, they unlock commercial royalties. Owners will receive 50 percent royalties for profits generated on commercial use and commercial rights to create any item or product with the respective WoW so long as they agree with their licensing terms.
The artist behind World Of Wonder is illustrator Yam Karkai, who aims to keep women at the forefront of her work, to empower and put women on the blockchain. She hopes this project will inspire women to join the NFT community whether they are buyers or creators.
Reese Witherspoon seems to be gaining a healthy amount of NFTs in her wallet and we hope that continues.
