A REVV Racing tournament is offering winners $150,000 in REVV tokens. The Animoca Brands Polygon blockchain title fired up for the first time yesterday, 11th August 2021, with the contest — named Alpha Inaugural — its launch event. The competition will continue for one week.
In total, 1000 players will receive prize money, with the overall winner walking away with $12,000. To get involved, participants must have a REVV Racing car NFT. These can be acquired in a number of ways. Thanks to various giveaways and staking events prior to launch, REVV cars branded with projects including The Sandbox, SuperFarm, Tower, and Gamee are available. OpenSea is also full of secondhand vehicle NFTs. You should expect a floor price of around 0.02ETH, or $64.
How does the REVV Racing Tournament Work?
If you already have a REVV Racing car NFT in your wallet you’re ready to compete. Every player is given 20 free turns in the tournamen, so you can technically spend nothing and walk away with $12,000. In addition, Animoca Brands has promised to credit Polygon tokens to any connected wallet with a racing car NFT.
As you would expect, with so much on offer the REVV Racing tournament has garnered plenty of attention. According to DappRadar, as the word spread on social media unique active wallets interacting with the game’s smart contracts increased by 62%. Much of this can be attributed to first-time players getting their hands on cars in order to compete. But this also led to a boost in the number of processed transactions.
Alpha Inaugural’s Incredible Potential
Of course, REVV Racing’s tournament isn’t just about giving players a chance to earn. The platform itself also stands to benefit from the Alpha Inaugural hype.
Right now, the game is ranked tenth in the DappRadar Top Polygon Games chart. That’s a great place to be, but given the huge uptake we have seen ahead of the tournament, and the benefits of participating, the smart money is on the title climbing in the coming days.

Nevertheless, it seems highly likely more and more players will be signing up in the coming weeks thanks to the high-profile nature of this launch.
