NFTs are everywhere at the moment, and now they are coming to children’s television. The NFT collection Robotos is getting its own TV series. The popular NFT collection by artist Pablo Stanley will hit the screens in partnership with the iconic TIME Studios.
TIME Studios is the emmy award winning film and TV production division of the 100-year old magazine. Time magazine is world-renowned. Significantly, the highly influential TIME Person of the Year is a huge part of popular culture. Robotos will partner with the historic company to create a TV series based on the Robotos NFT universe.
Robotos is a collection of 10,000 NFTS, represented by randomly generated droid characters with over 170 unique traits. The Robotos community is massive and global. There is a lot of untapped potential here, and TIME Studios recognizes that.
Futhermore, each character wears a metal outfit, digital accessories and a variety of bizarre additions. Because of the nature of the characters, there is massive potential for the family-friendly Robotos TV series.
Robotos TV series is just the beginning
Actually, there is also another NFT collection in the Robotos universe. Robopets are the robot dog and kitty companions to Robotos. This is interesting because Robopets could feature in the upcoming Robotos TV series. Additionally, the Robotos universe is enormous and already includes a large merchandise shop online.
Finally, This is an exciting move by TIME Studios, which only recently launched the kids and family division. However, there are suggestions that this is just the start for them.
Maria Perez-Brown, the division head, said there is “an untapped opportunity to work alongside NFT creators” to bring their creations to film and TV.
