Shaquille O’Neal Continues To Invest in NFTs

O’Neal isn’t new to the NFT space. In fact, last year he released his own NFT collection on Ethernity. The collection features five separate NFT highlights from his playing career.

In addition, O’Neal also released another NFT collection called “Shaq Gives Back” before Christmas of 2021. He donated 100% of proceeds and royalties from secondary sales of the NFTs to charity.

Prior to releasing his collections, O’Neal had bought two Creature World NFTs.

DeGods is a Solana-based deflationary collection made up of 10,000 virtual gods available on Alpha Art and Magic Eden. Each DeGods NFT showcases artistry with their creative outfits and eye-catching colors.

The collection became one of the most popular Solana-based NFT projects recently. Moreover, it has generated more than 49,000 SOL in trade volume on Magic Eden in the past week. As of writing, that is worth nearly $6.4 million.

Meanwhile, the current floor price of a DeGods NFT is 181 SOL, or about $18,494.

Last week, DeGods launched DeadGods. It is an initiative that allows DeGods NFT holders to swap to a different profile picture. DeGods holders can also earn the NFT project’s token called DUST by staking their NFT.
