Star Atlas has partnered with Audio Up to create a sci-fi-related podcast. This is Audio Up’s first metaverse-related move and of course, Star Atlas is a massive metaverse name. It is a first-of-its-kind partnership. The podcast will be released later this year.
About the Star Atlas Podcast
Both parties will be collaborating to produce the Star Atlas podcast. It will be an eight-episode series called Moon Station Six. The podcast is set inside an experimental prison in the Star Atlas universe. It will feature both characters and lore from the game.
Additionally, the podcast falls into the sci-fi adventure genre. The series follows an android bounty hunter wrongfully convicted of murder. Moon Station Six will feature an original soundtrack along with NFT drops unlocking special features within the story, original music, and art.
Star Atlas’ co-founder spoke on the Star Atlas podcast. He said: “We’re excited to partner with the great storytellers over at Audio Up to enhance and give voice to the lore of the Star Atlas Universe. We have an ambitious plan for our metaverse. And we look forward to working closely with one of the best podcast production studios to begin telling our rich and compelling story through this medium.”
What is Audio Up?
Audio Up is a podcast and audio-focused company with the goal of blending the IP of the future through its podcasts, audiobooks and songs. Since the launch in April 2020, they have worked with the likes of 24kGoldn and Machine Gun Kelly on a music front. As well as this, many other big names in the TV industry.
The company is extremely fast-moving. Their work on the upcoming Star Atlas podcast is only one of their many big steps. They also have partnerships with Sirius XM, MGM Studios, Warner Records and more.
Taking advantage of the growth of the audio industry, they were able to make their way through the pandemic better than companies in other industries.
