STEPN, a move-to-earn Web3 app, released NFT sneakers with ASICS Shoes. Last month, they also hosted a competition with a prize of 3000 GMT tokens!
STEPN x ASICS Host NFT Competition
The move-to-earn fitness application created a new collection of NFT sneakers with major sports brand Asics. Through the partnership, NFT collectors can either purchase a common or uncommon shoebox or an NFT sneaker.
According to STEPN, users equipped with these NFT Sneakers in STEPN mobile app can move and earn tokens and rewards. In addition, both STEPN and ASICS also hosted a competition where winners shared a prize pool of 3,000 GMT token vouchers.
A blog post from Binance said that participants traded STEPN x ASICS Sneaker NFTs from April 19 to April 25 to win. Ultimately, the top 30 users ranked by their NFT transaction volume on the “STEPN x ASICS NFT Sneakers” Mystery Box collection on the Binance NFT marketplace secured a prize.
STEPN, Binance, and ASICS will also donate $100k from the sale proceeds of the NFT Sneakers towards a joint charitable cause.
STEPN is a move-to-earn health and fitness application. The project aims to inspire millions of people to a healthier lifestyle, connect them to Web3 and combat climate change.
Moreover, STEPN also offers diverse in-app gamification features such as sneaker leveling, shoe-minting, and Gems/Mystery Boxes. The app has a built-in wallet, swap, and marketplace that allow non-crypto users to onboard STEPN.
