NFT platform Superfandom is launching a marketplace that enables superfans to gain access to future experiences with their favourite creators.
Superfandom‘s NFTs serve as tickets to one-of-a-kind offline or online fan experiences. These experiences can include collaborations, workshops, meetups, one-on-one hangouts and so on. All creators have a “storefront” on the platform. Through their “storefront”, they’re able to design and sell their NFTs. In short, Superfandom is the OpenSea for fan engagement.
Superfandom is the brainchild of Rare Sense Inc. – a blockchain company that creates experiences that bring blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption to the masses. As Sophia Perez, Superfandom’s CSO, explained, “The NFT projects which are able to evolve beyond just digital collectables are the ones which will be bringing future value to web 3.0. And that’s exactly what we’re trying to do with Superfandom.”
“Only a fraction of us are into collectables. But it’s hard to meet someone who doesn’t look up to someone or idolises someone. We’re trying to bring fans and their idols closer through NFTs.”
Superfandom’s NFTs are a good deal for creators
Superfandom’s NFTs are attractive to creators because they’re secured by the Bitcoin blockchain. In addition to being the largest capital pool in the crypto sphere, Bitcoin NFTs are relatively new; therefore, the market is much less saturated than NFTs sold on platforms such as the Ethereum blockchain.
International creators and celebrities are already lining up to be on Superfandom’s roster. For example – NFT collections from K-Pop star Jang Han-byul, Bollywood actress Riya San and TV star Jake Busey are dropping soon.
Platforms like Superfandom are democratising the NFT space by enabling creators with smaller teams to benefit from the NFT boom, especially since superstars such as Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Rihanna have already dropped their NFT collections.
