Banksy, the world-famous graffiti artist, is releasing a new collection of tokenized NFTs called Radar Rats. The exciting project is a collaboration between Banksy, Magic Eden, and the international art collective LCD Lab. Significantly, the 1,000 NFTs come with unique utility, providing owners with the chance to mint a physical piece of Banksy art by burning the NFT. The NFTs will be available on September 17th, exclusively on Magic Eden.

Radar Rats is a special collection of 1,000 NFTs that can be burned at any time. By burning your NFT, you will receive an authenticated physical piece of Banksy’s Walled Off Hotel Box Set for free.

The collection of physical art contains hand-painted prints by Banksy’s team, housed inside a small white box frame. Initially, these went on sale to clients of the Banksy Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem, Palestine, between 2017-2019.

“We are always looking to bring interesting and innovative NFT collections to Magic Eden,” said Jack Lu, CEO of Magic Eden. “By introducing the legendary art of Banksy into the NFT world and piloting a unique burn mechanism in which an NFT can be redeemed for a physical art piece, we are reaching a community of passionate NFT collectors who are expressing greater demand for fine art.”

Remember, every one of these Solana Banksy NFTs also comes with the opportunity to own 1/1 of physical art. Previously, Damien Hirst created a similar NFT project that was incredibly successful.

Finally, 10% of the profits will go to the Banksy Walled Off Hotel to help organize an urban art festival in Bethlehem.
