MetaKey By DCL Blogger secures $3.5m raise led by Animoca Brands

MetaKey continues to make waves in the Web3 community after launching in May last year. The company, founded by DCLBlogger, has announced that it raised $3.5 million in a seed investment fund round, led by the hugely influential venture capital and software company Animoca Brands.

Other notable investors during this seed funding round include DCG, Sfermion, B3V, Spartan Group, MHC Digital Finance, WhaleShark and others.

Since it began last year, MetaKey has grown enormously and has been involved in many collaborations and partnerships throughout the Web3 space. There are almost 30 members of staff, including artists, developers and more.

MetaKey continues to grow and build on impressive start

After less than a year in the Web3 space, it has a $50 million valuation. Now, after the latest seed funding round, MetaKey has the support of some of the most well-known investors in the space.

MetaKey plans to use these new funds to develop several critical aspects. They will work on improving the new inter-metaverse, cross-blockchain social hub, New Ganymede. The season pass reward system will work with the MetaKey and other metaverse platforms. To do this, the company will also expand its team using the funds from the funding round.

The project is also preparing to grow its current Metakademy education platform. There are over six thousand holders, and it is growing rapidly. MetaKey is a unique NFT project that provides access to many educational tools, games, discounts and more.
