Fans of The Sandbox’s Summer Jam LAND sale has a new reason to celebrate! The platform has extended the sale with two more waves, it announced yesterday, July 30.
In a bid to celebrate the summer, The Sandbox had launched the Summer Jam LAND sale in late June. Wave 6 and 7 will kick off on August 5 and 7 respectively. An additional 1,508 LANDs and 569 Premium LANDs are up for grabs during the sales. Moreover, there will be more ESTATEs and new partners to watch out for!
The Sandbox Wave 6 Jam LAND Sale
The sixth wave will start at 1 PM UTC on August 5 and will feature 752 LANDs and 267 Premium LANDs. Moreover, it comes with six new projects – CyberKongz, Monstrocities, GAMEE, Bitlectro, MEEBITS DAO, and THE FABRICANT.
CyberKongz is a new type of apes that have entered The Sandbox metaverse. During the sale, the apes will switch to a voxelized 3D version from their usual 2D form. Meanwhile, the MonstroCities is a social avatar metaverse game. It features 8,000 unique NFTs in the form of voxelized monsters.
While GAMEE is a mini-games platform, Bitlectro Labs offers audio-visual NFTs through Dreamloops. Some of the 10,000 programmatically generated Bitlectro NFTs is expected to be a part of the ESTATE claimed by the Bitlectro team.
MEEBITS DAO, the independent community of the Meebits creators, are another partner in this wave. Lastly, the digital fashion house Fabricant is also entering the metaverse. The brand is creating interactive brand experiences through end-to-end 3D content.
The Sandbox Wave 7 Jam LAND Sale
Wave 7, the last wave of Summer Jam LAND, will begin at 1 PM UTC on August 12. It will feature 756 LANDS and 302 additional Premium LANDS. In addition, it will feature seven new partners, including NFT Swapper, CryptoArt.Ai, and Wicked Craniums. OliveX, Brand New Vision (BNV), MoonCats, and Round21 are the other partners.
NFT Swapper is an upcoming tool that will enable swapping between LANDs and other NFTs. On the other hand, CryptoArt.Ai will offer a platform for artists to showcase their digital artwork in any format.
The highly popular Wicked Craniums is another partner for this wave. The cartoon skeletons are now entering the metaverse, adding more versatility to the space. Similarly, MoonCats, consisting of 25,600 pixelated collectable cats, are also joining the metaverse.
Digital lifestyle company, OliveX, is bringing fitness to the metaverse with its Artificial Intelligence-built content. Next on the list is BNV, a digital fashion marketplace, which is adding some glitz and glamour to The Sandbox. Here, users can buy, collect, and trade virtual clothing, footwear, and accessories from major brands. Finally, there is Round21, which is customizing sports gear for players.
Meanwhile, The Sandbox is also planning to launch a queuing system during these waves. The system is aimed at giving the community a “better LAND sale experience” and “equal chances” of getting a LAND. Collectors will have to keep a tab on The Sandbox’s website for more updates on this.
