This week, The Weeknd’s fans in the NFT space rejoice as the singer launched an exclusive Billboard NFT collection via OpenSea. The artist offers 7 exclusive digital assets in partnership with Billboard as his hit single ‘Blinding Lights’ became the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 Songs of All Time.
The Weeknd’s Billboard NFTs are up for auction
Accordingly, each NFT from this special collection is featuring two main designs:
- The November 2021 Billboard cover featuring The Weeknd himself
- 3 trading cards including scenes from the iconic ‘Blinding Lights’ music video
In total, The Weeknd and Billboard are offering 7 NFTs, all signed by the legendary artist. In order to create these special collectibles, the duo teamed up with Autograph, Tom Brady’s popular dedicated platform.
“Having The Weeknd join our Board of Directors and release his upcoming collection with Autograph shows his trust in our ability to bring this collective vision to life,” Dillon Rosenblatt, Autograph CEO and Co-founder told NFTevening.
The auction started on December 20, and it will end on December 23rd at 1 p.m. via OpenSea. Notably, the prices per piece are still mainly below 1 ETH. Therefore, you still have time to place your bid and win this historical digital asset!

The Weeknd is undoubtedly the artist of the year in terms of pop music, and his NFT debut seems just as successful. Simultaneously, it’s a notable milestone for Billboard too, as the giant is still exploring the NFT market.
