World-famous Canadian singer, The Weeknd is set to drop multiple NFTs in collaboration with Binance to celebrate his World Tour. His ‘After Hours ‘Til Dawn’ tour is “crypto-powered”.
About the Binance Tour NFTs
Crypto exchange platform Binance is working with Canadian singer, The Weeknd, on his upcoming tour. The company, initially founded in China, will sponsor the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour. Currently, only the North American leg is confirmed, after he cancelled his European tour.
Through the partnership between the two, Binance will produce multiple NFTs. Alongside this, they will donate $2 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund, started by The Weeknd. He started this earlier this year. They have claimed that it will be the first global concert tour to use web3 technology for fan experiences.
HXOUSE will also be involved with the tour. The Toronto-based community incubator will develop an NFT collection to commemorate the tour, as well as merchandise. 5% of the funds from the additional NFTs will be donated to the XO Humanitarian Fund also.
As we have seen with other events, those who attend the concert will get a virtual ticket stub. This can be redeemed for NFTs celebrating the show.
