What is the TRUE Ecosystem?
First things first, let’s break down the TRUE ecosystem. In essence, TRUE is a multi-chain infrastructure. It focuses on helping brands, game developers and users find their way in Web3. In particular, it enables them to interact with GameFi and next-gen NFTs with expanded utilities. Overall, the team’s priority is pushing forward the utility and potential of NFTs in order to encourage mass adoption.
The core of the TRUE ecosystem that the Status Cards are a part of consists of a number of products that work together. This includes an NFT marketplace, a merchant office, the TRUE App, and the TRUE SDK. What’s more, TRUE even has an “Earn” section. As a result, the TRUE community can build on their crypto assets through game mechanics and the regular DeFi tools.
So now that we’ve broken down what TRUE is all about, let’s take a look at how the TRUE Status Cards fit into the picture.
What are TRUE Status Cards?
To put it simply, TRUE Status Cards are access keys. That is to say, they unlock all the features of the TRUE ecosystem for users.
Another key point about them is that they will be issued on both Polygon and Ethereum. To that end, users will be able to choose their preferred network when they mint the TRUE Status Cards. But don’t stress too much about which network to choose! That’s because holders will be able to use a cross-chain bridge to move their NFTs between networks if they so choose.
As shown in the above image, there are five different kinds of TRUE Status Cards: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Black. Notably, only the Bronze and Silver Cards will be up for sale (on OpenSea and the TRUE marketplace). In contrast, the three highest-tier Cards will be given out by TRUE through allowlists. To illustrate, Cryptopunks, BAYC, MAYC, Meebits, Moonbirds, and Azuki holders are all eligible for the allowlist for the Gold and Platinum Cards.
However, holders can also “Craft” higher-tier cards with lower-tier cards. For example, you can turn 11 Bronze cards into a Silver card, or 11 Gold Cards into a Platinum Card.
Card holders get to enjoy a wealth of great utilities
One major utility of the Status Cards is that they grant holders early access to all future TRUE NFT drops. TRUE has already announced some huge collaborations with major brands like Fashion TV.
There are many more great perks for card holders. And, as previously mentioned, these perks increase depending on the TRUE Status Card tier. For one thing, holders of Gold, Platinum, and Black Cards will get pre-IDO allocations of TRUE tokens. To explain, TRUE is planning an IDO (initial decentralized exchange offering) for Summer 2022.
Other major utilities include staking of the TRUE platform’s native token $TFT, a lottery with a $TFT jackpot for Card holders, governance rights for holders, and a Daily Bonus P2E game where users can win tokens and NFTs.
