Veve has partnered with the United States Postal Service (USPS) to release Day of the Dead stamps as NFTs! Recently, USPS had released four Day of the Dead-inspired “Forever” Stamps. Now, VeVe is all set to drop these stamp arts as limited edition NFTs on its platform.
Día de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead), is an annual Mexican celebration where families come together to remember and honour their departed loved ones. Veve’s Day of the Dead Stamp NFTs aims to celebrate the “traditions and colourful exuberance” of this tradition.

VeVe x USPS: Day of the Dead Stamps
This year, USPS released four colourful stamps featuring many iconic elements of the Day of the Dead offering. Each stamp features one member of a family in a decorated, “sugar skulls” form. The two lit candles, present on both sides of the skulls, are meant to guide the departed ones to their annual return to the land of the living.
Furthermore, Marigolds, the popular Day of the Dead flower, adorns each stamp. While international artist, Luis Fitch, created the stamps, Antonio Alcalá is the Art Director.
“We are offering a new way to collect and a way to remain relevant and innovative with new audiences,” Chris Karpenko, USPS Executive Director of Brand Marketing, said in a press release.
Meanwhile, David Yu, Co-Founder of VeVe, added, “We’re thrilled to offer collectors a new, unique way to engage with digital collectibles that celebrate the legacy of both the USPS, a daily crucial service, and Day of the Dead, a holiday that has resonated among countless generations.”
