NFT-dedicated platform VeVe joins forces with legendary Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios for the first James Bond-themed digital collectibles. The “No Time to Die” collection comes as more and more Hollywood productions tap into the NFT market.

James Bond joins the NFT craze with VeVe
This week, Veve has confirmed its latest partnership with EON Productions and MGM; the trio will soon launch the first NFT collection featuring James Bond.
The collectibles pay homage to the last movie of the franchise, No Time to Die, set to hit theaters next month. The NFT release is especially meaningful as fans had been waiting for 18 months for its release, which was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
VeVe co-founder Dan Crothers confirms the excitement behind the project:
“As fans of Bond, the film franchise’s legacy, and its ongoing impact worldwide, we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring an array of Bond digital collectibles to VeVe and our passionate community of collectors.”
According to MGM Chief Marketing Officer Stephen Bruno, the 007-themed NFT collection is a unique opportunity to “own a piece of cinematic history.”

What is VeVe?
VeVe is a digital collectibles company that aims to bring popular films, animations, or TV classics into the NFT market. So far, the group has released NFT collections dedicated to Star Trek, Adventure Time, and The Powerpuff Girls, among others.
Perhaps the most exciting part about VeVe is that users can create virtual showrooms to showcase their collectibles. In addition, the app allows collectors to purchase, trade, and even customize their digital collectibles.
