What’s more, the company has some exciting plans. In pre-seed funding, they raised money from Outlier Ventures, Hawk Digital, MaxStealth and Rafi Gidron.
The overall ethos of The Digital Pets company is to bring the joy of dog ownership to the blockchain. They want to create life-like NFT pets that you can interact with using voice, touch and visual communication. Reportedly, there are plans to allow you to train them and even play with other pets.
Once the virtual pets go live, users will be able to interact with them in several ways. Significantly, you can access them across virtual reality, augmented reality, mobile devices and web apps.
The Digital Pets Company said in a statement. “These spaces will be empty and lonely without suitable content, connecting people and establishing substantial social relations. Dogs, which are man’s best friends, make us happier and help us connect with new people.”
This is not the first metaverse NFT pet project to exist, and there is also a cat project by Tiny Rebel Games for feline lovers.
