The ApeCoin DAO has approved Forj to launch Ape Accelerator, an incubation platform designed for the BAYC community! This exciting new initiative was successfully proposed through the ApeCoin DAO’s Idea Proposal system. It aims to nurture and launch projects that enhance the BAYC community and ApeCoin ecosystem, utilizing ApeCoin tokens (APE). Further, the ApeCoin DAO community has approved a grant of APE tokens specifically for building and launching Ape Accelerator. So, let’s dive in!

BAYC Community and the Ape Accelerator
The primary objective of Ape Accelerator is to actively involve the ApeCoin community as Initiators, Voters, and Participants. Initiators will have the opportunity to submit proposals for projects. On the other hand, Voters will be able to utilize their APE tokens to vote on whether these proposed projects should proceed. Additionally, participants will have the chance to support approved projects by purchasing NFTs and other tokens.
Ape Accelerator’s launchpad will initially operate on the Ethereum network. Then, it will introduce a tiered structure for user participation. The tiered structure will be based on users’ APE stakes and their ownership of qualifying NFTs. Depending on their tier, users will enjoy various benefits such as priority sales, higher purchase limits, and improved allocations of rare NFTs. A voting process facilitated by the ApeCoin DAO will determine the specific requirements for each tier.
