We’re now a month past this year’s edition of the Non Fungible Conference (NFC). As a matter of fact, as an official media partner of the conference, NFTevening got to see all the incredible action happen firsthand. Here’s the rundown on everything you missed from this year’s Non Fungible Conference – the hottest NFT event in Lisbon, Portugal.
All about Non Fungible Conference 2022
Firstly, this year’s edition of the Non Fungible Conference (NFC) took place on April 4th and 5th. Taking place at the iconic Pavilhão Carlos Lopes in Lisbon, the conference explored the four core pillars of the NFT space. Namely, Gaming, Art, Collectibles, and the Metaverse.
Aside from all the amazing talks at NFC, there were a number of incredible activations. From a jungle-themed party sponsored by The Sandbox, to a shopping district that had free NFT drops and merch available. There was even a full bar and party area for attendees to let loose between events.
Of course, Non Fungible Conference had plenty of NFT art on display, in a physical gallery space no less. In addition, NFC also saw the unveiling of Mariupol: a collaborative, interactive NFT artwork by 38 artists which aimed to raise funds for Ukraine. There was also an exciting live painting of a car, hosted by the art collective $amot Club.
Talks from some of the biggest names in NFTs
The centerpiece of the Non Fungible Conference was of course its amazing lineup of speakers. To be sure, the packed two-day schedule was a who’s who of the NFT space.
Monday morning’s keynote address was given by Maev (Samot Club), Sebastien Borget (The Sandbox), John Karp (Non Fungible Conference), and Gauthier Zuppinger (NonFungible.com), and Briyan Cessac (Screenshot Labs). On the other hand, Ledger’s Managing Director Sebastien Badault closed out the conference with the closing keynote.
NFTevening co-founder, Théo Sastre-Garau, got to catch up with the young Weird Whales creator, Benyamin Ahmed.
The two days in between were filled with insights from experts across many different sectors within NFTs. Luckily we managed to speak to some of the people at the forefront of the industry. Be sure to check out our interviews with:
