It has been confirmed that the WWE is set to release its debut NFT collection on the Moonsault platform. This collection will be titled ‘Hell in a Cell’ and is coming on June 5th after fans were rewarded on May 27th with 10,000 free Moonsault genesis NFTs. The platform was announced back in March and they’re now just stepping into the space properly.

    The Moonsault Platform

The Moonsault platform was announced back in March by the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). The platform will be hosted on the Eluvio blockchain, which stands out as being eco-friendly. They welcomed lots of fans onto the platform last week, awarding the first 10,000 users who signed up and created a wallet with free Moonsault Genesis NFTs.

Now, on June 5th, the WWE is set to launch their first full collection, Hell in a Cell. Hell in a Cell will be a 10,00-piece collection of ‘NFT flips’, with each NFT being centered around a wrestler who will be performing at the upcoming Hell in a Cell which is also on the day of the launch. A full card of the event’s fighters can be found here. The NFTs will sell for $30 per “case”.

    About the WWE

The WWE, or World Wrestling Entertainment, is a sports and entertainment company and professional wrestling promotion. It was previously known as the WWF or World Wrestling Federation. The promotion was founded in 1953, by the McMahon family, who still run it today. Currently, it is owned by Vince McMahon, and the internationally operating organisation employs around 850 people.

As in other professional wrestling promotions, WWE shows are not legitimate contests but entertainment-based performance theater, featuring storyline-driven, scripted, and partially-choreographed matches; however, matches often include moves that can put performers at risk of injury, even death, if not performed correctly.

The company has millions of highly dedicated fans worldwide, who attend fights around the globe.
