Another creature of the night is joining the NFT world: Sneaky Vampire Syndicate Bats! On Twitter, the SVS team finally unveiled a teaser of the companion NFTs. The image was well-received by the community and the Twitter thread was flooded with comments expressing support and excitement.
As expected, the art was exquisite and it gained a lot of compliments. The Bored Ape Yacht Club artist behind SVS surely did not disappoint!
Inside Scoop: Vamps Companions
Aside from the art, the team is also focusing their energy on making sure that the claiming process of the Vamp Companions will be as smooth as possible. The team is currently updating the upcoming SVS holder dashboard to achieve this. Through this, users will be able to claim their bat NFTs easily.
The team also clarified that they wouldn’t take a snapshot for the companion drop. As soon as the bats are ready for claiming, users can easily connect their wallets. Then, the site will check if the wallet contains SVS tokens and how many of them already have companions by their side. Additionally, the site will cross-check how the number of SVS tokens. After this, the user simply needs to press the claim button to generate the bats belonging to their vampires.
The team assured the community that they would also provide a way to check whether a certain Vampire has already claimed their companion. This way, users can easily determine whether a Vampire for sale on OpenSea has already been used to claim their companion.
What’s the team been up to?
To further engage the community, the project launched a Bats Derivative Contest. According to their Discord post, “There were so many creative, sarcastic and artistic entries” that it became hard to select two winners. As such, they opted to select 5 of their personal entries along with three that they found the funniest.
As for the mechanics, each Vampire Holder will be able to cast ONE vote on their favorite and ONE vote on which they believe is the funniest. Take note that this means one vote per holder, not per vampire. The two pieces of art with the most votes will each receive a free Vampire, along with the one deemed the funniest.
Aside from the vampires and the bats, the team has been busy with their Metaverse move through The Sandbox. The NFT project has partnered with The Sandbox to take ‘The Vampire Lair’ to the metaverse. For this, it has bought an estate of land and will soon start building on it.
SVS’ Sneaky Vampire Town is located at -168, -60 on The Sandbox. Furthermore, its estate is 6×6 in size and is made up of 36 parcels of land. This will be free for all SVS owners. Once completed, SVS holders will be able to hang out with others on the Vampire Lair. Meanwhile, the project has yet to reveal more details on what it has planned for the metaverse.
The Vamp Companions will soon wake their nocturnal state and roam the NFTs, so make sure you catch the latest updates on Twitter!
