CryptoVoxels fine art NFTs have arrived thanks to a collaboration between MORROW Collective and Firetti Contemporary. They will release their own CryptoVoxels exhibition with fine art from famous photographers and artists – all released as NFTs.
The latter organisation is displaying a series of fine art NFTs in the MORROW Collective’s CryptoVoxels NFT gallery. The exhibition aims to celebrate the differences and similarities between physical and digital art, hence the title: NFT|IRL.
While that premise isn’t entirely original, the format this time is very meta, to say the least. The CryptoVoxels NFT Exhibition is also available in their virtual world – a mirror of the real-world fine art gallery. Meanwhile, Firetti Contemporary is hosting the IRL exhibition in Dubai, which features both original physical work and NFT counterparts.
Who Has Made the CryptoVoxels Fine Art NFTs?
The CryptoVoxels exhibition features a number of prominent artists. Names include Ahmed Emad, who drew attention to his work by way of designing Pink Floyd’s 15th studio album, 2014’s ‘The Endless River’.
Kadara Enyeasi, a photographer who focuses on human form within built landscapes and urban environments, has joined the list of featured artists. Plus, let’s not forget Josh Rowell, whose output marries analogue and digital mediums and methods. Finally, the Artists; Irvin Pascal, Helidon Xhixha, and Fatiha Zemmouri will also take part in the CyptoVoxels Fine art NFT Exhibition.
Where Physical and Crypto Art Meet
The CryptoVoxels fine art exhibition is certainly set to turn heads, both digital and IRL. However, this isn’t the first time artists have looked to question where the boundaries, and what the differences are, between non-fungible art and physical work.
This is the first Morrow Collective and CryptoVoxels fine art NFT drop. However, many others in the NFT market have been walking a similar path. Earlier this year, British visual culture icon Damien Hirst unveiled his first NFT project, which has a series of physical counterparts and asks owners to pick which they prefer. Meanwhile, in July we spoke to the team behind Solid NFT about their project, which can turn non-fungible pieces into IRL art.
