The much-anticipated VeeFriends Series 2 drop is just around the corner! It is easily one of the most hyped drops of this year and Gary Vee fans can’t wait for it! In recent days, the VeeFriends team has been releasing various updates as they gear up for the drop. Now, you can check your eligibility to get the NFTs in the collection.
How to check your eligibility for VeeFriends Series 2
The VeeFriends Series 2 NFT collection will launch with the “Friends List” on April 12. The collection will have a total of 55,555, with each costing a mint price of $995 in Ethereum. All in all, there will be 251 characters, including 236 characters from Series 1 and 15 new characters.
VeeFriends Series 2 Friends List is basically VeeFriends’ version of a whitelist. First, the team will randomly pick 32,000 BOOK GAMES out of 120,000 BOOK GAMES tokens. The corresponding wallet addresses of the tokens can mint Series 2 during the Friends List window on April 12.
To check if you are eligible for the Friends List, simply head over to the Series 2 website. There, click on the ‘Check Eligibility’ button and connect your wallet. The site will then let you know if you are eligible for the drop and with how many mint allocations.
The team closed the Friends List after 1 PM EDT on April 5. The Friends List minting will take place between April 12 and April 24. If you are one of the lucky ones who are selected, you will have until April 24 to mint a Series 2 by paying the mint price plus gas.
However, if you own a Series 1 VeeFriends NFT, you can claim a Series 2 NFT of your current character for free. Lastly, the public mint will go live on April 25, with a supply of 10,000 NFTs. An auction for the new Spectacular of 236 characters will also be part of the public mint.
There are 15 new characters in Series 2!
VeeFriends will introduce 15 new characters, with 220 tokens per character, in Series 2. All Series 2 characters feature 214 randomly generated combinations of poses and backgrounds. In addition, they will also have six 1/1 Spectacular types—Bubble Gum, Diamond, Hologram, Gold, Lava, and a surprise type.
After the Friends List mint, the team will make available one of the 15 new character’s non-spectacular tokens through the next 15 days, one per day. There will also be a “16th Spectacular day combining all 6 Spectacular types of the 15 new characters (90 total) with the start date of April 27th.”
For each character, holders who have eligible BOOK GAMES tokens can enter a 24-hour raffle. Once the raffle ends, the team will pick 214 entries who will have to burn their tokens to get the character. You have until May 31 to burn your tokens. Post this, you will receive a randomly generated Series 2 new character!
