A pair of NFT-themed conferences are on the horizon, promising to fill up your June with crypto-themed events and information. First up is CGC|NFT2.0, where over 2,000 participants will meet to discuss and explore themes surrounding the NFT movement. And then, just a week later, The Conference.NFT will add speakers and a showcase to keep the conversation going.
Here’s the scoop on both events:
After a successful NFT-focused event in March of this year, CGC decided to add another conference to really get at the meat of the NFT boom. Targeting everyone from game developers to artists, fashion designers to auction houses and everyone in between, CGC|NFT2.0 is billed as a place to pitch and hear breakthrough ideas.
Run entirely virtually, there will be ample opportunities to network with other like-minded NFT enthusiasts and professionals. A catalogue will help members connect, and private break-out rooms and group chats will help foster the conversations that will help define the future of the NFT industry.
A digital expo will give you a glimpse of the hottest trends in NFTs, as well as inside information about what works and what doesn’t as you venture forth. A media round-table will help connect entrepreneurs and artists with the press, both in group settings and one-on-one. And of course, there will be special NFT drops during the conference — swag bags for the virtual space.
The event runs from June 10th to 11th. You can read more about it at the CGC website.
On June 17, AroundB will present The Conference.NFT, virtual event that will give you the foundation you need to succeed in the crypto world. Aimed at everyone from newcomers to seasoned professionals, it is the perfect networking opportunity for artists and buyers alike.
With sessions about how to become an NFT buyer or seller, and insights from the industry’s top names, The Conference.NET promises to be a huge success. The full line-up is due to be announced soon, but is said to include founders of leading blockchain companies, NFT artists, famous collectors, metaverse founders and crypto lawyers and legal entrepreneurs.
Ten artists will be handpicked by the organizers as best-in-class, and be given three minutes to showcase their works for all attendees. The artists will also be featured in a showcase, with the top-voted work being awarde a special gift.
You can sign up for The Conference.NFT by visiting the conference website.
The importance of conference events
If you’ve never attended a conference before, it can seem frivolous to spend the time and/or money to listen to people talk about their passion projects for an afternoon. But events like these are how great ideas are sparked, companies are formed, and friendships forged. Just because you know about NFTs doesn’t mean there isn’t something new to learn, and there’s nothing quite learning it from someone who knows their stuff inside-out.
If you’re on the fence about attending an NFT conference, do yourself a favour and give it a shot. You may not come out with a million-dollar sale, but you’ll definitely come out with a whole new perspective.
