Maltese high-end contemporary lifestyle designers Charles & Ron have just announced their first NFT collection. Additionally, the designers have also announced a partnership with ARize Group to bring augmented reality and virtual reality to Los Angeles Fashion Week.
Through its partnership with ARize Group, Charles & Ron will showcase some of their designs in 3D and AR on March 18th in Los Angeles. This event will also celebrate the brand’s new Fall/Winter 22/23 collection. Furthermore, the 3D/AR versions of their new pieces will be released to the public immediately after LA Fashion Week.
In addition to this initiative, Charles & Ron will release their first NFT collection this year. Ron Van Maarschalkerweerd Borg explains the importance of this launch vis-a-vis the broader fashion industry: “I have been thinking about using tech in our brand for a long time. This collaboration is perfect; as it gives our customers, both existing and potential, an extra dimension to the artistic pieces they will own. For us, the question was never if, but when, and the time is now.”
