Fendi x Ledger: When High Fashion Meets Tech
The luxury crypto hardware wallet accessory exclusively for Ledger is part of the Men’s Fall/Winter 2022-2023 Collection. This is Fendi’s debut collection of tech accessories that bridge the physical and virtual world.
The Collection reimagines “a gentleman’s wardrobe for the New Roaring Twenties.” Fendi wanted to showcase a touch of old-world elegance and a playful, disrupted formality that breaks all boundaries of the sartorial archetype. Hence, they teamed up with industry leader Ledger. After all, its wallets are the most user-friendly and secure hardware wallet and digital management solution in the space.
The fashion tech essentials featured on the runway are all compatible with the Ledger Nano X hardware wallet. The accessories are actually scaled-down versions of the signature Fendi Baguette and O’Lock motifs. Since Ledger is a tech brand, Fendi decided to render the items in lightweight aluminum with a modern high-shine finish.
While the NFT Community celebrated this partnership as a huge win for the space, some users expressed security concerns. As Matty (@dclblogger) puts it, “I go to extreme lengths to hide my Ledger. Ain’t gonna be wearing it out for people to see lol. Fashion + Security = bad combo.” Others pleaded, “please do not attach your hardware wallet to your purse.”
About Ledger
Meanwhile, before 2021 ended, Ledger announced its upcoming Ledger NFT integration feature to its crypto wallet – Ledger Live. This means that you will not need a third-party wallet to view your NFTs. What’s more, Ledger will soon integrate Rarible, the world-leading NFT marketplace, in their Discover section. Clearly, Ledger is beefing up its suite of NFT services.
