Independent artist GunFight has returned with a new single titled ‘Heroes and Zeroes.’ However, there’s a catch: the artist has also dropped an NFT along with the single.
All about GunFight’s new single and NFT
GunFight’s latest single is his fourth release this year. It follows in the footsteps of bass anthems like ‘Future Punk’ and the single ‘Street Sweeper’. The latter was recently released through FiXT Neon. With the release of ‘Heroes and Zeroes,’ the young talent is tapping into the exciting new space of music NFTs.
Unlike his peers, GunFight’s singles are known for their remarkable covers, cinematic visuals, as well as, “sonic identity”, reported Music Crowns. Similarly, his new single features eerie melodies, otherworldly sound designs, and cinematic intros. As it progresses into a heavy drop, the music transports the listeners to a futuristic setting.
The single is now out on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, and YouTube. Those interested in purchasing the NFT can head over to OpenSea.
The sale is open to bids till July 31 with a starting bid of 100 WETH or US$183,703. There were no active bids for the NFT at the time of writing.
Developments in the Music NFT space
As the NFT craze continues to pick up, there have been numerous impressive developments in music-themed NFTs. Jay-Z, for instance, is auctioning an NFT commemorating the 25 anniversary of his debut album, ‘Reasonable Doubt’.
Similarly, this month, Maroon 5 released their NFT collection. A few months back, singer Grimes had also sold her NFTs for nearly a whopping $6 million. Moreover, an app catering to music NFT artists is also all set to launch.
