Fancy a look at the new HBX x Coinbase NFT pop-up? Good news — the brands are offering a preview of the space, which will be used in their forthcoming New York City event. Billed as a celebration of digital and physical collectible culture, chosen works highlight the growing influence of crypto. The in-person event will open to the public on 18th and 19th December. The address is confirmed for 393 Broadway, Soho, from 12PM to 6PM.

Following this, 2022 will see HBX open its own permanent New York City location in 2022. Meanwhile, Coinbase has also announced plans to launch a NFT marketplace next year, too. As such, we can see the inaugural exhibition as charting how this tech-culture space has developed up until these major milestones for both firms.
Anyone heading to the HBX x Coinbase Pop-Up using the Coinbase app will receive a special coin. This can be redeemed at the on-site ‘Japanese gashapon arcade’, which dishes out physical prizes from big names in fashion, alongside NFTs. Giveaways come from brands including Gentle Monster, Carharrt, Engineered Garments, Suicoke, Ambush, and Human Made. And that’s not all for fashionistas. The event will also offer the chance to screen print exclusive t-shirts with exclusive designs only available from the pop-up.
Artists Involved in the HBX Coinbase NFT Pop-Up
A number of highly influential artists will be exhibiting work at the HBX Coinbase NFT Pop-up. For example, Henbo Henning, the tattoo master, has a work entitled ‘We Are the Amphibians’. This focuses on a group of frogs, tadpoles, and similar, who carry the fate of the world on their shoulders. Interestingly, these are known as the ‘Amphibian Art Collective’, which may or may not be a new NFT collection in the near future.
Elsewhere, Bobby Hundreds, Stickymonger, Rhymezlikedimez, FVCKRENDER, and Eric Hu, are also set to feature. The event is just the latest major NFT exhibition we have reported on recently. Vancouver’s Monte Clark Gallery hosted tokenised art, cocktails and DJs last weekend. Syndey, Australia, announced plans for its first NFT exhibition next year, and Saint Petersburg’s State Hermitage Museum has also unveiled a huge crypto art project.
