He-Man NFT releases via Mattel with no blockchain capabilities

The popular publishing house – Dark Horse comics collaborated with Mattel to launch the He-Man NFT collection from the “Masters of Universe” comic series. The NFT drops are available to purchase till the stocks last.

If you’re a fan, keep reading as this new collection is not like other digital NFTs.

How He-Man NFTs are different from others?

To begin, like other NFTs, they are not available in digital form but only as a paper product. Moreover, in the process of creating these NFTs, no blockchain was involved, which saved a lot of minting energy. Mattel and Dark Horse are trying has bring something innovative with these “limited edition prints”

Following the traditional pathway, the collectors can use retro fiat currency to purchase He-Man NFTs. Nostalgic isn’t it?

Particularly, the NFTs are printed on 11″ x 17″ archival paper. Famous artist, Bill Sienkiewicz curated the artwork, which was originally featured on the cover of “Master of the Universe: Revelation #2.”

Only 300 units are part of the limited He-Man editions. Where each print is available for pre-order at $39.99 on their official website. After the purchase, the company will ship the NFTs between January to February 2022.

Basically, He-Man and Masters of the Universe is a comic book series by DC comics. It comprises a six-issue mini-series.

After which, the comics served as a prequel to Netflix and Mattel Television’s critically acclaimed animated series, “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”. Parts 1 and 2 of the series are available on Netflix now.
