Upcoming MMORPG ‘Mist’ is teaming up with 3D MMO Sandbox Game ‘Crypto World’ to revolutionize NFT Sales. Last week, we reported that the Mist game launched a first-of-its-kind immersive NFT marketplace. Crypto World has created a Mist Store in their in-game universe.
It is in the pre-pre-beta stage, so the project provided playtesting servers per region to access them. Over 53,000+ players joined from 77 countries. The servers have fully functional NFT Sales and NFT Tier upgrade systems in place (however, every single NFT has been sold out).
Scope of Partnership: Mist Game and Crypto World
Players can explore the cyberpunk streets of Crypto World in stunning HD 3D. It is also a free-roam, open-world sandbox game so players can create their own adventures using NFTs. On the other hand, the Mist game is an NFT Action RPG that allows users to stake and earn rewards. Therefore both projects utilize NFTs to build an immersive gameplay experience.
Mist and Crypto World are forming a technical and strategic partnership. The goal is to bring MIST NFT Marketplace right on Crypto World’s MMO Sandbox experience. The scope of the partnership includes the innovative 3D and ARNFT (Augmented Reality NFT) Marketplaces and in-game NFT stores and real estate.
In the in-game footage of Crypto World, Mist’s Storefront was prominently featured. Allegedly, players will be able to browse and purchase an NFT from Mist in 3d (and soon Augmented Reality 3D). Plus, all items will officially be spotlighted in Crypto World’s open-world NFT MMO and marketplace.
The vision of Crypto World is to elevate browning “catalog sale” marketplaces by going completely 3D. So aside from a cool open-world sandbox MMO NFT game, the game offers an immersive, visually stunning, 3D and AR NFT marketplace. For example, users can view NFTs in 3D, walk around a virtual mall with friends and experience the future of NFT gaming and sales.
Crypto World will be setting up storefronts for many other NFT projects. However, Mist will have prime real estate in-game.
NFTs, tokens and Play to Earn Mechanisms
The Mist universe was built with Unity using the in-house Mist NFT Game Framework (MNFG). Basically, players can collect NFTs, battle epic monsters and explore immersive environments in the MIST Universe.
Players can stake the in-game currency (the $MIST native token) by purchasing or investing in in-game businesses, such as taverns, general stores, and more. By “staking” this way, players earn rewards. Moreover, they can farm by “purchasing” farmland, farms, or livestock. As your farms work, you receive rewards.
Using the $MIST token, players will be able to level up their respective NFTs. The marketplace will also offer the opportunity to combine two NFTs of the same level with $MIST to obtain a higher level.
There’s still limited information on the staking and play-to-earn mechanics. However, the team promises to intertwine each function to the blockchain and creatively use $MIST tokens for these functions.
