Superhow.ART have announced their releasing Oleg Tselkov NFTs. Tselkov recently died, in July 2021 and the collection is being made of one of his last paintings. Above all, the winner of the auction will be given a genuine oil painting signed by the artist, along with the digital certificate as an NFT. This is Superhow.art’s first NFT auction of a real fine art painting.
About the Auction
Superhow.art is differentiating in this release. They are allowing people to either purchase fractional ownership, or full ownership, which opens it out to all. There could be one ‘whale’ winner who will be given full ownership and be given the physical painting, or many ‘shrimp’ winners who will share fractions of the art piece. If shrimps win, governance tokens will be distributed, and the painting will remain in the gallery, but be co-owned. The auction has been postponed to the 5th of November, you can use this link to get notified of information about the launch. The auction is based on decentralized Ethereum smart contract technologies, making it more secure.
The art piece is called “Head with Legs” and looks as it sounds, as shown above in the image. The physical art piece is an oil painting on canvas dated 2014. It will be provided with an authenticity certificate from the Arty Cube gallery.
About Oleg Tselkov
Oleg Tselkov was a Russian artist, who was born in 1934 in Moscow. He died in July of this year in Paris. Throughout his career, he was most known for painting images of faces with bright colors. He amassed huge fame in Russia during his career, then in 1977, he moved to Paris, then bought a farm in Champagne where he lived and worked for the rest of his life. Following his death, there was an auction on Sotheby’s for some of his art pieces (non-NFT)
