Indian designers Pankaj & Nidhi are making their foray into the NFT space by dropping 3 NFTs on WazirX NFT Marketplace. The designer duo is releasing these NFTs in collaboration with FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week.

Pankaj & Nidhi’s NFTs are highly symbolic and were designed in a circular form to represent Earth. Daydream represents the symbolic wish to turn back time, while Song of the Earth embodies Earth’s beauty. Additionally, Once in a Blue Moon depicts our closest celestial neighbour.
The design elements in these three unique NFTs evoke a sense of wonder and awe at the forces of nature. In addition, Pankaj & Nidhi wanted to use these artworks to inspire us to take care of our resources and work towards a sustainable future.
The vision behind the Pankaj & Nidhi NFTs
The duo explained how the Pankaj & Nidhi NFTs came about: “We all have the responsibility to use our actions and voices however small they may seem – to try and make a difference. And, we have created these NFTs, titled: Daydream, Once in a Blue Moon and Song of the Earth, to evoke a feeling of gratitude for our existence on this beautiful planet.”
Vishakha Singh, VP at WazirX NFT Marketplace, commented on the metaverse’s importance for forward-thinking fashion brands: “NFTs have opened new doors of consumption and production for fashion brands. They are now starting to invest in the business of digital collectibles.”
She continued, “Metaverse is going to change how business is done across sectors significantly. Brands have become more open to exploring new ways to create revenue streams; and keen to stay relevant for the future generations, and going digital really is the stepping stone to that.”
