The Paris Web3 Night was indeed a smashing success, filled with insightful new trends in the fast moving Web3 revolution. Following the Paris NFT Day event, Paris Web3 Night catered to the people that pushing the blockchain revolution. Arianee hosted the event, along with their co-organizers: Dogami, The Sandbox, Ledger, and Darewise.
So, What Happened At Paris Web3 Night?
This IRL event started off with the ‘Gaming and Metaverse’ panel, contributed by the good people from DOGAMÍ, Poap.fr, Darewise, and The Sandbox. The representatives basically sat down and shared their honest and unbiased thoughts about the current and future state of the space. A common theme from all of them is the focus on their respective communities, simply providing them with a platform to flex their creative juices. In the spirit of Web3, ‘open metaverse’ and ‘true ownership’ will take center stage moving forward.
The Guests at Paris Web3 Night
DJ and NFT artist, Agoria, or Sébastien Devaud discussed Culture and Web3, explaining his journey and how his art came to life. Then, Clubhouse’s Stephanie Simon shared how they built the 40m-strong community. Although not a native Web3 company, the team has one of the best experiences in community building and token utilization, which will be essential in any Web3 project.
The final panel featured the various Web3 brands that have been making noise in the space as of late including Panerai, Moncler, Printemps, and Ledger.
What we learned from the Web3 Experts
One major takeaway is that in the big picture, we’re still very early in the space. As brands, now is the time to understand the Web3 space so that we can find our own respective ways to capture our own audience. Web3 technology is changing what ‘omnichannel’ means today, and companies should leverage on this immersive avenue.
Big Topics Of The Event
In addition, the panel pointed out how NFTs and Web3 technology is perfect for building brands, especially luxury brands. Gucci defined the 3 pillars of luxury, which are creativity, scarcity, and community. This is exactly what NFTs give us. However, the space still has somewhat of an entry barrier, in both technical and monetary terms. Therefore, brands can work towards incorporating this technology in an approach that is as seamless as possible.
Event Bonuses
Luckily for us, Arianee gave audience with a free NFT wearable at the end of the event. This was a result of their collaboration with The Sandbox. Basically, each event goer could scan the QR code on their event hoodie, and get an exact NFT replica in their wallets. Plus, they are compatible with Sandbox avatars. This collaboration is certainly keeping everyone guessing.
NFTs in Paris
Also, look out for Paris NFT Day 2023. The event will highlight one important question: ‘Who are your clients?’ On 24 and 25 February 2023, the biggest names in the space will address this issue. Hopefully, they’ll help brands assimilate to the NFT adoption curve.
