The much-loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are bringing their crazy ninja skills to the NFT world. Thirty-seven years after their debut, the ninja turtles are launching on the WAX blockchain in partnership with Funko and TokenHead.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NFTs will be part of Funko’s pop culture Digital Pop! NFT series. The launch is all set to go live at 2 PM EST on August 3, WAX said in a blog post.

The collection features the bellowed ninja turtles Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo, and their many enemies. Additionally, the collection comes in six rarities, including Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Grail.
The collections will be available in two packs. While the Standard Packs come with five pre-minted cards, Premium Packs include 17 pre-minted pops. The former costs $9.99 and the latter costs $29.99. All in all, there are 20,000 Standard Packs and 10,000 Premium Packs.
Besides, collectors also have a chance to redeem the cards for physical assets. Those who get one each of Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic NFTs can redeem them to take home a unique physical collectible! Moreover, those who get their hands on a Legendary or Grail pop can use them to redeem a physical TMNT Funko Pop.
Meanwhile, there will be a stress test a day before the official launch (on August 2). Here, participants will get a free Freddy Funko x Max TokenHead promo pack.
