Game publisher Chaosium locked in on VeVe app to release the first-ever Call of Cthulhu NFT drop featuring a masterful sculpt of the Cthulhu Idols.

Chaosium Inc. is a publisher of tabletop role-playing games established by Greg Stafford in 1975. The horror fiction RPG Call of Cthulhu is one of its major titles. The game was first released in 1981 and is currently in its seventh edition.

In the gameplay, cultists use the Cthulhu Idols to venerate the long-forgotten being who may one day return to devour humanity and an infamous Tome of Mythos. Like the other titles of Chaosium, the game is based on a literary piece. For example, the Cthulhu Mythos is a shared fictional universe originating in the works of American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft.
These photo-realistic collectibles come in various colorways for those wanting to add some eerie ambiance to their Showrooms. So fans and collectors can bid on jade, gold and bronze Cthulhu Idols. The project minted 1975 Editions of each Colorway with a starting price of $50.
