More than just an NFT, World of Women (WoW) continue to impress with their plans for the future, putting their community first.
The team behind the hugely successful NFT project has made it clear that the next WOW collection will be affordable and with a much higher supply.
Ultimately, this will allow more people to join the WoW community and become even more significant than it already is. Currently, it costs 2 ETH for a WoW NFT, which is very expensive. The founders plan to release the new collection, World of Women – Galaxy, in 2022.
World of Women – Galaxy NFT collection
The new collection will be larger than the original, but it is unclear how big it will be. WoW will divert a significant part of royalties to new charitable causes. Meanwhile, the new collection will come with exclusive benefits—also, a certain amount of tokens will go towards the upcoming World of Women DAO (DAWoW).
Additionally, World of Women will reward owners of the genesis NFT collection. They will be able to mint a Wow – Galaxy NFT for free.
The founders are serious about expanding the brand, but they are well aware that the owners of the original NFT collection have made this possible. This gesture will ensure they remain at the heart of the community. Furthermore, they will remain the top tier membership for World of Women.
WoW popularity
WoW describes itself as “A community celebrating representation, inclusivity, and equal opportunities for all. United by a first-of-its-kind collection, featuring 10,000 artworks of diverse and powerful women.”
World of Women burst onto the NFT scene in July, offering a diverse women based alternative to the male-dominated industry. It was an overnight success and immediately sold out.
WoW has delivered on several promises and continues to offer a unique perspective on how the space should move forward. The project’s manifesto states, “Our intention with this project is to balance representation in the NFT space while at the same time pushing it forward and supporting causes that are close to our hearts. All through a collection of powerful, diverse and awesome Women.”
World of Women is now a celebrity NFT phenomenon. Many will be looking to join the community alongside superstars such as Reece Witherspoon and Logan Paul.
Finally, World of Women has several plans for the coming year in the NFT space. Recently, the company has announced a partnership with Universal music. As well as this, there are plans for rebranding, more charity work, a DAO. Additionally, there is a WoW gala planned for 2022 that we are all looking forward to.
