PlayDapp, Polygon NFT Marketplace, is getting a boost in terms of usability. The South Korean blockchain company is launching the Coinbase wallet connect service in an effort to widen its ecosystem.

PlayDapp and Coinbase Integration
The integration between the two partners means that Coinbase users can now trade NFTs on PlayDapp Marketplace by simply linking their wallets. This move is expected to expand the userbase of PlayDapp because Coinbase is of the world’s largest exchanges with over 56 million verified users and $223 billion in assets.
Aside from Coinbase, the platform currently supports Metamask Wallet and Portis Wallet. Thus, the addition of the Coinbase Wallet service is expected to improve global user accessibility greatly.
More about PlayDapp and Polygon
PlayDapp is a dApp game portal that provides a peer-to-peer (C2C) marketplace. PlayDapp’s games are interoperable and offer a broad portfolio of games for gamers to enjoy with NFTs. Games and companies can sell various game items on their marketplace, including items from third-party games like League of Kingdoms.
PlayDapp recently switched to Polygon to make their games and NFT marketplaces more cost-effective. The switch to Polygon makes a lot of sense for PlayDapp because they have been doubling down on NFTs. Earlier this month, they announced the launch of PlayDapp Town, a virtual world where players can show or use NFTs from other projects.
Meanwhile, Polygon, formerly known as Matic Network, is swiftly rising in popularity. As a blockchain scalability platform, it solves the pain points of Ethereum such as heavy fees, poor user experience and low transactions per second (TPS). Some high-profile projects running on Polygon include metaverse game The Sandbox, Cometh NFT Game and the Defi-staked NFT Collectible Aavegotchi.
