The Fabricant, the inspiring and creative metaverse fashion house, has raised over $14 million in a funding round. The news comes as the company continues to break boundaries in the space and partner with high-profile metaverse companies.
The Fabricant has a partnership with Epic Games. Furthermore, they have already announced a collaboration with World of Women and The Sandbox.
This funding round was led by Greenfield One. Significantly, it included some big names, including Ashton Kutcher, Guy Oseary’s Sound Ventures, Red DAO, and others.
Meanwhile, this money will go towards several of the company’s goals. It will support and expand its primary target as a metaverse fashion house, which is to create the ‘wardrobe of the metaverse.’ The development and creation of their NFT platform, The Fabricant Studio, is part of that.

When asked about The Fabricant, Jascha Samadi, Partner of Greenfield One, said, “Within virtual environments, we will likely have multiple digital reflections of our physical self. The Fabricant Studio allows any creator to become their own fashion designer in the metaverse — paired with Web3 technology, digital fashion becomes unique, tradeable, and accessible to the masses.”
The Fabricant was formed in 2018 and is making a name in the digital fashion industry. What’s more, In 2021, it entered the NFT fashion world, launching The Fabricant Studio.
This NFT platform is a place to create, trade and wear digital fashion NFTs. Significantly, they are launching Season 2 of their clothing range next week, on the 15th of April. Stephy Fung’s Zodiac Wardrobe collection will be huge for NFT fashion.
