What is the Galactic Hub Community Grant?
The Galactic Hubs grant program is now accepting applications as it prepares for its next season. Therefore, members, fans, and collectors who have ideas to develop a project that would benefit the Alien Worlds ecosystem and communities can apply for the grant. Below is a breakdown of the types of ideas the project is looking for:
- Impact: The idea must have a meaningful impact to the community.
- Feasibility: The project must be feasible with a demonstrated and experienced team.
- Objectives: There must be clear objectives in the scope of the idea.
- Alignment: The proposed scope and deliverables are aligned with the application for grant funding.
- Sustainability: The project is sustainable beyond the period of the grant.
The Galactic Hubs grants come in two tiers – Development and Pioneer. Both these grant stipend of Trilium (TLM) tokens for development. Moreover, both these grants can receive up to 500K TLM tokens. Development grants receive their tokens on completion of the project, whereas, Pioneer grants are for long-term projects with differing pay schedules.
The grants are for any new ideas that develop the ecosystem. So this can include new narratives, tools, digital infrastructures, artwork, games, and more! For both the grants, the team provides full support both technically and on the marketing front. The applications for grants are open until March 31st, 2023.
