Are you excited for the release of the 25th James Bond Film? Now you have more reasons to be because Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) and EON Productions have partnered with Cinemark to launch NFT movie ticket stubs on the VeVe app.
As it is, the film is one of cinema’s most iconic franchises. This film is extra special because it commemorates star Daniel Craig’s fifth and final performance as 007, everyone’s beloved British secret service agent.
James Bond No Time to Die NFT Movie Stub
The limited-edition digital movie ticket stub is now available on the VeVe app. Additionally, each of the original purchasers of the collector’s tickets will receive seven admission tickets. They can use this in any Cinemark movie theater to watch No Time To Die during its theatrical run in the U.S., debuting in theaters today, October 8.
In addition to the limited-edition Cinemark movie ticket stubs, MGM, EON and VeVe have partnered to launch a series of James Bond-inspired NFTs. Collectible items released to date include exclusive digital posters as well as the stealth glider and Safin’s mask featured in the film, all of which sold out within seconds of dropping. The partners will release additional No Time To Die NFTs throughout October.
“Partnering with MGM, EON and Cinemark on James Bond digital collectibles marks a tremendous moment in time for our platform and is something our community of dedicated collectors is going to love,” said Dan Crothers, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of VeVe. “Offering purchasers real movie tickets to see No Time To Die in theaters alongside NFTs from this iconic franchise further legitimizes our belief in the long-term impact of digital collectibles and showcases how innovative they can be.”
Take note that secondary sales of the NFT will not include ticket package to see the movie in a theater. Moreover, complimentary, promotional codes are only valid for the movie’s showtimes through November 4, 2021, at Cinemark Theater locations. Most importantly, no substitutions or rain checks are allowed.
A Bit About the Plot
In the U.K., MGM released No Time to Die last September 30, 2021, through Universal Pictures International. Then, it will be released in the U.S on October 8 from MGM via their United Artists Releasing banner.
In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. However, old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA asked for help, so he had to answer the call. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected. So the movie features Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
