This season, the iconic NFL whisky sponsor Crown Royal returned to the NFT scene with a brand new Web3 experience in partnership with Vayner3, one of the top Web3 companies. The project titled “Crown Royal Chain of Gratitude” launched along with the brand’s first 60s Super Bowl ad. Basically, the new blockchain game involves NFT minting and exciting prizes while creating a new community!
Why Did Crown Royal Get a Super Bowl Themed Experience?
Super Bowl LVII was undoubtedly one to remember, including for the NFT market! One of the top examples comes from Crown Royal, the official whisky sponsor of the National Football League (NFL).
This year, their Canadian-themed ad was celebrated virtually too with a new NFT project “Crown Royal Chain of Gratitude.” This is in fact the second blockchain experience for the iconic brand. Their debut campaign titled “That Deserves a Crown” was equally successful.
For this drop, Crown Royal joined forces with the Web3 consulting company Vayner3 to create an NFT-powered experience.
How does Crown Royal’s NFT Game Work?
In short, collectors can mint one NFT called “Token of Gratitude” via the official platform. Each minter will receive a unique link they can send to a friend to grow a “chain of gratitude”. If you want to participate, you can either mint an NFT to start your own chain or get a link from a friend.
All in all, the core purpose of Crown Royal’s NFT game is for each player to grow a chain as big as possible. Users with the biggest Chains of Gratitude can win a personalized Crown Royal cape. What’s more, one lucky collector can receive a pair of custom Crown Royal sneakers!
